Enviroschools Wānanga: Learning & Play in Action

Recently, Tairāwhiti Enviroschools gathered for an inspiring wānanga, focusing on land use and climate change. ECX was excited to join and witness the innovative ideas and visions from our rangatahi for our whenua, awa, and moana.

This event showcased their commitment and creativity. Tairāwhiti Enviroschools was one of last year's recipients of the ECX Rangatahi Climate Action pool for their 'School Strike for Climate' efforts.

The day featured engaging activities that encouraged students to explore sustainable practices and climate solutions. It was a powerful reminder of the vital role young people play in driving environmental change. Their enthusiasm and knowledge highlight the promising future of our natural resources.
